Meet the Pastor
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord!”
Greetings to all in Jesus name! May I take this opportunity to share with you a little about my family background. My name is Pastor Dhanraj Sankar and my wife is Pastor Cynthia Sankar. I was born in Trinidad and was converted from Hinduism in 1966 at The Arima New Testament Church of God. I attended Bethel Bible College in Jamaica in 1968 and graduated as class valedictorian in 1971. I met Cynthia, whom I have known as a Sunday school class mate, and now a stunningly beautiful young lady, and we got married in January 1973.While teaching bible school and high school I served as youth pastor for two churches. I served on the National Youth Board and pioneered the northern extension of the bible school which eventually became the venue of the National Bible Institute. I pioneered three churches in Trinidad: The Las Lomas, Welcome Village New Testament Church of God, and The David Toby Road Church. My wife and I are the proud parents of four children; Michelle, Marsha, Denise, and Marvin and five grandchildren; Brandon, Audrea, Michael, Faith, and Sophia. We migrated to the USA in 1990, and continued our passionate ministry for Jesus in the Baltimore area. We pioneered the Pikesville Church of God in Pikesville and presently serve as pastors of the New Liberty Church of God. |
